Basement Pictures...Help

Okay here is the last photos of the listing.

They are the basement and backyard photos.

Yard Photo:

The yard is greener now, Yesterday I tested the sprinkler system and I programed the system. I am thinking though since we are retaking photos on friday I MIGHT go in and add another program to it so it is watering EVERY day until then so it greens up faster.


Yes this is all the photos of the basement even though there is a storage room behind the door you see to right of the TV, a Large Laundry Room a full bathroom and two bedrooms on this level.

If you were house looking would you want more photos or would that be photo overkill?

What do you suggest?

    It depends on how many photos you have going on for the rest of the house. The living space and yard is the most important but it is nice for house hunters to know there is a laundry room and bathroom down there. It almost does not seem like it is a basement but rather a two story that is planted on a hill? It is hard to tell beause I can't see through the glare of the window if the yard is even grounded or not.

    Yes, keep watering the lawn and fertilizer if you have not already. You definitely want a green lawn. Have your realtor update this photo once lawn is green.

    The basement is staged well. Just get rid of the clutter, or organize by type of item on the shelves. Books together, dvd's together. I'd probably leave the couch across from tv there, to keep the staged look.

    I think bedroom photos should be added. I don't know if laundry rooms and storage are as helpful. Just my opinion.

    The picture of the yard is taken from the sliding door. You can see the door a bit on the bottom right side, Yes it is a walkout lower level. Maybe some call it a two story planted on a hill in other parts of the country.

    I will definately get the bedrooms listed. Atleast one so they can see size.

    I might consider taking a photo of the yard at a different angle, because I couldn't figure out where the yard ends and another property begins.

    Also if I were buying, I'd want to see a photo of the bathroom and laundry. Smile good luck

    I think the basement needs a little color, and I'm assuming the place where you are taking the picture from is where you enter the basement? If so, I think you need something in that part of the room so it doesn't look like a wasteland. Set up a reading nook or something. You just need a cozy chair, a side table and a lamp.

    Oh, sorry, the second picture didn't show up at first for me. I still think it needs color and something more inviting than a computer desk. And maybe some curtains?

    Grouping baskets in a corner could be frugal and fill in some space. They could hold toys to show that it would be a great play area. A rug by the basement door could add some color also.

    I bought stuff to dress up the bathroom and we moved th dresser down to the bedroom and removed the fish tank. So I am hoping to get atleast a picture of the bedroom and bath.

    I still need to clean and organize the laundry room. I have been washing rugs and curtains like crazy.

    I have a rug I was going to put upstairs by the kitchen sink but I think instead I will stick it by the door.

    We cant take new yard pictures because the yard is now covered by 2 inches of snow. One Step forward two steps back.
