I itemized this year, so my return was held at turbotax until the IRS said they were ready for itemized returns.

Last night I checked my email to see if Turbotax sent me an email saying the IRS accepted my return. There was not an email when I went to bed. So a few minutes ago I went to turbotax to check and it shows that the IRS accepted my return and I should get my return on the 25th of Feb 2011.

I am super excited for my return. It is going to go to the Emergency Fund and Daycare Fund. I will have a bit leftover and that is going to the house repair saving which will mean that it is fully funded for my deductable.

I am thinking since my appliances are really new (2007), the only issue I have is with my washer. I had to replace the motherboard in it and since then the loads take super long so I wash on the quick cycle which is still long but my clothes come out clean.

I am thinking that I might stop the automatic payment that is going to my house repair account and increase the mortgage or escrow amount or both. Yes I want to save money to put on the deck but I think the mortgage and escrow are more important than the deck at this point.
